Hi Kid: How Powerful is the Network?

Featuring: the World May Not Revolve Around You, Girl Power and the FBI's Most Wanted

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT…
Who Are the Chief Connections to PSD?

How much sway should outside organizations have in our local districts?  To answer that question, we have been considering the influence the Washington DC-based Chiefs for Change has in Poudre School District and across Colorado.  If you missed the previous two posts, please go back and read them first—HERE and HERE.   Chiefs for Change is a multi-million-dollar, politically connected organization which recruits, trains, and deploys their trainees to take over key leadership roles in K-12 public education institutions across the country.  Chiefs for Change is networked across Colorado and Superintendent Brian Kingsley became an official “Chief” just months after becoming PSD’s Superintendent in 2021.

According to public records, we learned that Kingsley meets with two key Chiefs for Change associates—Robert Runcie and Peter Gorman. Gorman is the primary trainer for the Chiefs for Change “Future Chiefs” program in which Kingsley participated. Gorman also happens to be a consultant paid by PSD.

In addition to Gorman, Kingsley also meets with the powerfully-connected current CEO of Chiefs for Change-Robert Runcie. Kingsley’s calendar says so in yellow right there:

Kevin Bacon, Yes, the Actor

How powerfully-connected is Kingsley’s pal Runcie and the Chiefs for Change organization? Let’s play the old “Six Degrees to Kevin Bacon” game and find out if we can connect PSD with The Powerful.
