Maybe it is time for a local DOGE.
Federal DOGE efforts have made Americans thoughtfully consider if their hard-earned taxpayer funds are being appropriately spent, so perhaps Coloradoans should be curious about the billions of taxpayer dollars which pass through our school system—a system which consistently fails kids academically (see our story on local academic results HERE). The poor academic product our schools provide may be the result of school districts channeling time, money, and effort to activities unrelated to the proper role of education instead of using the taxpayer funds to support the schools’ proper academic mission.
